Domain name registry solution

Companies that conduct registry and registrar businesses for Internet domain names can now automate their work processes via RegistryASP.
The software is designed by WEBCC, a registrar certified by ICANN accredited registrar.

The RegistryASP shared registry-registrar solution allows a company to start with minimum upfront cost, hence its cost-effectiveness, WEBCC claimed. It offers the solution needed for any size of top-level domain name in any country, the company said.

WEBCC's business development director Boo Zi Yan said the solution's uniqueness lies in the system flexibility, whereby it can be customized according to business' settings.

"This solution is not the fist-of-its-kind, but it is the first that is designed with such flexibility which allows it to be deployed in most registry-registrar business settings."

The system comes in modular Web-based approach, and is capable of handling multiple registries and their individual network registrars, resellers and registrants.

It is designed for high availability and comes with redundant design. It also complies with industry standard and gives uptime guarantee.

All transactions are secured in triple-data encryption standard encrypted SSL session with 128-bit encryption.

On the business front, WEBCC is targeting 10 country code top-level domains worldwide as users in 12 months. "We are targeting small and medium-sized registry operators, especially in the Asia-Pacific," Boo said.
